How does Reveu.me match reviews to Shopify products?
Reveu.me can match supported product identifiers using Shopify product handles, Shopify product IDs, or SKUs. Matching is checked before the import begins.
What if my old product identifier no longer matches?
You can manually assign an unmatched product identifier to a current Shopify product before importing.
Do I have to manually map every unmatched product?
No. Manual mapping is optional. You can continue with unmatched products remaining. Reviews that cannot be connected to a valid Shopify product are skipped.
Will skipped reviews stop the entire import?
No. Reviews that can be matched can continue importing while unmatched or otherwise invalid rows are skipped and included in the final import result.
Can I see the final import results?
Yes. Reveu.me import history shows the original review count together with the number of imported and skipped rows.
Are imported reviews marked as verified buyers?
No. Imported reviews are not automatically marked as verified purchases. Verified buyer status is reserved for supported purchase-verification flows.
Can I import Etsy reviews?
Yes. Reveu.me includes a separate Etsy review import workflow with Shopify product matching and publishing controls.
